PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
The Marketing Department (May 2007 to August 2009):
Successfully performed a variety of marketing and operational responsibilities, from designing, writing, editing and proofreading internal and external marketing communication pieces to coordinating projects with vendors, clients and staff; managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; providing customer service; sourcing materials and creating client estimates; and overseeing special publication projects…all under numerous internal and external deadlines.
My contributions improved customer satisfaction, increased profitability, enhanced the workflow process, and nearly eliminated project reprints. I began as Production Coordinator and was promoted to Account Manager in August 2008.
University of Texas at Arlington (2007):
As a Senior Office Assistant, I supported more than 25 faculty members in the Music Department, providing administrative support and event coordination.
University of Central Oklahoma (2006; 2004-2005):
As Sports Editor for the campus newspaper, I coordinated the sports section by finding story angles, creating staff assignments, writing articles, editing, proofreading and laying out the pages.
As Library Assistant, I helped maintain the library’s periodical floor by organizing shelves and helping customers locate publications and use technological equipment
